Due to overwhelming demand and supply chain issues Hornady has suspended Nickel plating on their Critical Defense series during this time. This does not affect the performance of the ammunition just the look of the casing. Hornady will be reviewing returning to Nickel Plating at the end of 2021
Hornady Critical Defense .22 WMR 45 gr FTX Rimfire Ammo – 50/box is optimized to give you the best performance. Delivering controlled expansion that is superior as well as terminal ballistics the rounds provide the highest level of accuracy.
The powder used for these bullets is clean burning and low flash making it easier on your firearm. Casings are selected to ensure they are of the highest quality. They are made of nickel-plated silver and are easy to be seen even in low-light situations.
